Tasha M. Wilson, M.Ed. & MSW
I am Tasha M. Wilson, also known as Tasha W: The Messenger of Hope. My life's mission is to inspire millennial women how to rise from a place of pain to a posture of promise.
I specialize in working with women who have been scorned, broken, mishandled and overlooked. I apply my life experiences and educational background to help millennial women unlock the treasure that's within, confront pitfalls from the past and explore the power of fearlessness.
As a sexual assault survivor, there was a time in my life where I questioned my identity, my worth and my existence. It was challenging for me to speak up about my experience due to guilt, shame and fear. Once I made the decision to stop feeding my fears and start living in freedom, I became the Visionary Founder/CEO of the Royalty Refined Movement.
I am the published author of Who Am I When Everything is Silent? and Who Am I When I'm Under the Limelight?, books of poetry that are reflective of how I overcame the circumstances of life by trusting in God and yielding to His plan. My recent book Recognize Your Opponent: When Your Greatest Enemy is Your Inner Me was published on March 14, 2019. It is a transformational piece geared towards helping individuals overcome a defeated mindset and embrace the journey of healing and wholeness.
My innovation and passion for women empowerment and grassroots earned me recognition at the 100 Ladies of Elegance Gala in October 2016. There I received the Governor's Volunteer Service Certificate of Appreciation signed by Governor Larry Hogan.
On April 11, 2018 I became a member of the RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) Speakers Bureau. RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. As a RAINN Speakers Bureau member I am able to share my story with others on various platforms to help raise public awareness regarding the effects of sexual violence. April 1, 2019 I was the featured survivor story on their website and newsletter. Click here to check out my story.
