Who Am I When Everything is Transitioning?
Transitioning means to change from one form, state, style, or place to another. Currently in my life, at the age of 26 being a business owner, a friend, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a guitarist, a group leader, and a hair stylist, my roles are always changing. In every area of my life, I am something different to everyone. From friends, to relationships, to family, my views on a lot of things have changed. Most people would say " you're getting older, and you'll eventually outgrow some of your friends " or " he's cute, but looks don't last forever". I never thought I would be the one to agree until now. Life has taught me that people change and eventually so does your interest in certain things. Life has also taught me that it's more to a person then their looks, don't be fooled Yall! The way I think now about certain issues and certain topics are not the same as they were when I was maybe 19 or 20. God and life's lessons have taught me so much. Life's lessons have taught me that sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes you laugh and sometimes you cry, sometimes you get hurt and other times you are strong, sometimes you give up, and other times you keep pushing. God has taught me that ALL things work together for my good, the good the bad and the ugly! All of those things come during life's transitions, making you a stronger person, and helps you find purpose. Everyday in your life should be a constant reminder that you are growing. If something is always growing then that means the state that it's in is changing constantly. I am just happy to say that, in this phase of life, I have peace of mind and you couldn't pay me any money in the world for that. I continue to keep an open mind about life because I never know when the next phase is coming or going. I just keep telling myself to keep up with the process because I'm always transitioning, always changing, and always growing. #storyofmylife #thetransition
