The Manifestation of Your Seed

You want the harvest, but you don’t want to plant…..hmmmm….let’s discuss this for a moment. How often do we come to God asking Him to bless us in certain areas of our lives, seeking for miraculous moments? However, after we make our requests known, we start placing restrictions on Him because things aren’t happening at the speed that we would like them to occur. It’s in the waiting process that we must be careful on what comes out of our mouths. Whatever we declare, plants a seed. The things that we proclaim during our waiting period could interrupt or disrupt what God is planning to give birth to. We could either plant the seed of doubt or plant the seed of faith. How do you think that makes God feel when you ask Him to change a situation around for you, but shortly after you’re walking around with your head hanging down, with a major attitude and speaking defeat?

Philippians 4:8 “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.”

Let’s take it a step further, how many of us sincerely rejoice for others when they receive their blessings in the midst of our waiting period? Sometimes, we get so caught up on the fact that they received their blessing before we did, we start making statements like “I’m happy for them, but I will be glad when it’s my turn.” Or “Wow, God did a quick work in his/her life. I wonder when He’s going to answer my prayer.” Just because their turn came before yours doesn’t mean that you’re not going to get a turn. The request that you are standing in need of, God has not forgotten. He will allow it to manifest at the right time—His appointed time.
