Right Decisions Don't Always Mean Happiness

I know your probably thinking, "What could she possibly mean"? Well, Lets Talk Wisdom Wednesdays....

As believer's we are challenged everyday to make the right decisions. God desires for us to walk in truth and surrender ourselves beyond our flesh. This takes alot of courage at times. We live in a world that does it's own thing without rules or restrictions. The challenge then becomes; what will we do with the same free will. Will we remain set apart? You know what I love most about God? He never forces Himself on us, He allows us to decide which way we want to go...

I know you can remember a time when you were faced with making a decision that ended in sorrow or unhappiness. You had to walk away from that toxic relationship, or wait for your husband verses staying with a loser. That decision to walk in love verses hate, or to decline hanging out in places that meant you no good. That decision to leave people alone who don't encourage your relationship with God.  These are the tough decisions we are faced with daily...

As you grow in Christ, we must realize and stand on the fact that it's always rewarding to Walk in the way of the Lord... Even through the tough moments, God's way is always best. When we make the right decisions, this allows Him to show Himself mighty...

We must be a Living Sacrifice- Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

He died for us- Galatians 2:20

2 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

In the end, Let knowing that God is pleased with your decisions be your focus. He will honor those who walk upright... Be the one who walks upright even when the "Right decision doesn't mean happiness”
