The term blackout is often used to describe a failure of electrical supply. A blackout is the most severe form of power outage that can occur. The effects are devastating and detrimental. When encountering a blackout one must get into survival mode.
Are there times in your life where you've felt powerless? Where everything seemed so dark and you couldn't seem to find a spark of light?
As Christians, whenever we experience a power outage we become complacent with our walk. We make excuses to not pray or spend time with God. When this happens, we become spiritually empty. We begin to resemble someone and something different from ourselves. It takes time to notice the change in your life, but once you do, it is necessary to awaken spiritually and get back to the "you" you have grown to be. In order to reawaken spiritually, you have to get back into the word and begin to pray with purpose again. Re-plug into Jesus because He is the ultimate power source.
Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path."
